In the Multitrack screen, I've put in a few randomly placed track marks by using the "Insert CD Track Marker" selection tool. There are lines down the screen designating where the tracks start and end...
now what do i do?
This is actually a little bit easier task than I first attempted to explain.
Not sure what you mean by the "Insert CD Track Marker". I just use F8 to insert the cues and use the marker window to make sure they are set to "track".
Once you have your markers set you have to mixdown the session (
File > Export > Audio Mixdown). The file should still contain the markers set in the multi-track view. Once you are finished with editing the file and is saved, switch over to CD view.
In the left hand window you will see the file named there (as long as it is open). Simply drag the filename over to the cd track list (the tab says "main"). A dialog should pop up asking how to handle the track markers. The default settings should be fine. Just make sure that the "Add Multiple CD Tracks using Track Markers" is selected.
After hitting ok you will see your track marker names show up in the list. Then you just write the CD and it should be good to go.
