3.0 forum
Hey, can we have a 3.0 forum now? We could fill it up with a lot of threads speculating about stuff we know nothing about and complaining about the pricing and doing the wishlist thing and generally letting off steam.
I want to be able to share my anticipation.

Re: 3.0 forum
I have no doubt there will be a 3.0 forum at some time in the future.
At the moment, it seems a rather pointless exercise, since there is practically no information available, other than Adobe's original press release (and some re-hashes of that in various publications).
Let's wait until we have something concrete to both say and comment on.

You are being *so* practical. Is that because you have 2 thousand posts more than I do?

Try a cold shower. I've heard that this can improve things a lot...

That may be what you've been told, but I can promise you that's
not
true - it hasn't shipped at all yet.

Re: 3.0 forum
On the basis that architecturally similar versions share a forum to avoid unnecessary fragmentation, I would simply expect this forum to become the "Adobe Audition 2.0 and 3.0" forum.

Agreed. I can't really see the point in a separate 3.0 forum.

Re: 3.0 forum
Snob appeal for AA3 users..........either you have it, or you don't.
Let there be no confusion, 2.0 and AA3 are two very different programs with different features and capabilities. There may be some similarities, but midi recording and VSTi support are very important features that are lacking in 2.0.
Plus AA 3 requires a certain quality computer, not necessary for 2.0.
Mashing the two together will only cause confusion, for people not totally hip to both products.

Re: 3.0 forum
If VST plugins work properly in AA3 then it will be a totally different program

Well now, you haven't seen the crotchety old mule that I call our home computer. I don't run 2.0 on it.
