Re: 3.0 forum
AA3 snubs it's nose at my old Athlon 2500XP computer. I had to update to an Intel Duo Core, just for AA3. I'm not complaining as I'm starting to like the new computer's capabilities. My new computer should last a good long while, before it will need to be updated, but then again, it's already outdated, with quad cores.

Re: 3.0 forum
Whilst I'm sure the new PC is a worthwhile upgrade, I have it on very good authority that 3.0 would run quite happily on your old machine, whatever might be suggested elsewhere...

However, if that is so, Adobe are putting out misleading, or at least incomplete, information about it. Of course it is all the more believable because the SoundBooth installer refuses to proceed if the SSE2 instructions are not present.

Re: 3.0 forum
I tried installing the Soundbooth beta about a year ago and it wouldn't run on my Athlon computer. Neither would the M-powered Pro Tools demo I tried. Even Vista's Areo glass feature didn't work right. So there's definitely something amiss.
The new Intel computer should work just fine with all of the above. I'll have a more powerful processor, greater speed, better quality video card, better quality memory, so it should work out well for me for years.

Very interesting - but I find it hard to be more certain of what I'm suggesting WRT 3.0...

Re: 3.0 forum
Top / Tail views !!!!!!!!!!!! Great idea.
View Spectral phase display is awesome. Too bad I'm sober now. Love to get high and look into the vision!!!!!!!! How do you use this? Just see that the white light is in the same area? Wow!!!!!!!! Music and light. I always saw a connection in my mind's eye. Now we have AA 3.0.
Can a song with phase pblms be fixed w/o rerecording it? ie Mixdown.
Still loud noise when recording 9632 w/ Mona soundcard Latest 7.3 driver.....
11/13/2007 = EccoAudio is sending me a new PCI card they say will fix this!!! Do I remember SteveG saying this was a hardware problem?
