Just Purchased "Subliminal Studio" which includes a script file that enables you to create silent subliminals.  It works great in AA2.0 which it was created for, but is there a way I can edit the script to operate in CEP2.0 or AA1.5?  In CEP2.0 it doesn't show at all in the script selection dialog box and in AA1.5 it stops prematurly after the normalizing cammand.

I realize I can't post the script for all to see and copy, but I remember reading a post where someone here actually created this script for the company I purchased it from, I think, and if one could tell me which lines to edit if possible it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,  Brad.

It was me... and it's not that simple to convert, either, because you have to get rid of a whole mess of crap, alter loads of lines and then make sure it's still working properly. Absolutely your best bet is to ask them to give you the original version they had - which they've still got. Since you've paid them, I can't see why they shouldn't do this for you.

Hi Brad and Steve! I have an interest in wanting to create my own self-hypnosis subliminals and i've heard a bit about this subliminal script that Subliminal Studio is selling along with their ebook. I must say that the reviews i've heard about the ebook are not that encouraging, although it seems the script may be worth looking into.

Steve, since you have experience in this domain, I just wanna ask for your guidance, without really wanting to cross the thin line of soliciting copywritten material. I've actually tried to create a simple version of the Lowery subliminal approach. The steps i followed were as follows:

1. Apply a narrow bandpass filter (centered around 1000-2000 Hz) to the recorded voice track.
2. (this step could be ignored, not really sure yet) Apply a Dynamic Response to the filtered track so as to extract only the positive waveforms above the 0db line
3. Use the envelope of the positive waveform (above 0db) to Amplitude Modulate a tone fixed at 14500 Hz
4. Apply a very narrow bandpass filter centered at 14500 Hz to remove any sidebands as a result of the AM process.

If i use 14.5 Khz as the modulation carrier, the output result sounds like tinnitus, but if i increase that frequency to 18 khz, the output is barely audible... which is what I guess I should be striving for.

Are there any hints or tips you can give me, so that I can further refine my version of Lowery's patent?  Any help would be most appreciated.

Sincerely,
AJ

Hi AJ

I have a silent script for CEP 2.0 which you can download free from the BWGEN Brainwave Generator forum on yahoo.com.

If it is any use to you let me know and I will let you have a link to the forum.  smiley

We don't have a problem with direct links, but please make sure that Yahoo doesn't have a policy about it first...

teknomage, I don't remember the exact steps the original Subliminal Studio script has in it, and it's on a hard disk that's not currently installed in a working machine, so I can't look at it easily. But the lines you are working on are about correct as far as I recall. The only other thing of note is that their original script isn't a single process, but a whole series of separate ones doing alternative conversions - which is why it took quite a lot of sorting out.

Hi Steve and teknomage

Rather than risk the wrath of Yahoo, if anyone is interested in the silent script, if they send me a PM with their e mail address, I will send script as a zip file.

PMed ya, Charlie! smiley

SteveG, if it's not a problem, could you please further elaborate what you meant by "alternative conversions"? Is there anything else about the process you remember that might aid me?

Sincerely,
AJ

Hey Charlie! I checked out the script you sent me yesterday and it pretty much has the same steps I've been following. My recommendation is to add a bandpass filter before the Modulation step so as to avoid any Nyquist frequency hassles. Other than that, everything else looks cool.

One question though: why is there a step for Dynamic response just after the 30% Normalization? The slope of that response is > 1 and it looks like you're trying to clip the high peaks. Is there something about this step that makes the subliminal more effective or better in any way?

Sincerely,
AJ

Hi AJ

Sorry can't help too much with this.  I found the script on Yahoo back in the days of CEP.

Perhaps other forum members will be able to help.
