Hi all - Happy 2sday

Like many others, I've recently purchase a BCF2000.  It works great, I'm happy.  But now that I've used it, I'm wanting more functions & I'm hoping that somebody can point me in a direction.  After hitting the "store" key to get into track eq mode, I would love to be able to select my track and then use the whole top row of encoders as an eq strip with all the proper parameters, ie gain, freg, Q, and shelving instead of having to continually click on one encoder.  Has anyone ever done this?  Is it programmable in midi?

I also like hitting the preset keys to move my faders from ch1-8 to 9-16 etc.  My only issue is that the bcf gives no indication of where it is.  I would love to see this info pop up on the little display.

Anybody have any thoughts?  I must say that I am completely midi stupid.  As much as I have tried to grasp this idea, it eludes me leaving feeling like I'm in a traffic circle.

Peace to all

I don't believe anybody has been able to do this yet.  Although, it would be awesome if it were possible.  I have a BCR and with the current setup I have MANY unused encoders.

I believe this is an Audition issue. The display does indicate bank info in Reaper - it shows the number of the leftmost track on the display.

While on the subject of BCF/Audition/Reaper, in Audition the BCF pan controls don't work until you press the BCF's Edit button (pan enable). This is a minor irritation which I thought was a BCF issue, but there's no such requirement with Reaper. Reaper also allows a press on the pan control to reset pan to centre.

...I'm wanting more functions...
I think Chris is absolutely right here. Initially, I wanted to be able to do as much as possible with the BCF, however, once I got used to it I found that transport, faders, pan, track mute and solo provide all the functionality I really need.

The MCSo mode seems to work best with Audition 2, providing the functions that I use very smoothly. The other issue with Audition is not being able to program the track buttons. Audition appears to provide the means, but the functions don't change. I suppose it doesn't matter too much as I have the BCF beside my computer keyboard with which I use hotkeys.

When the AlphaTrack gets Audition support - promised shortly - that's worth a try too, as its real touch sensitive controls make a huge difference when in touch or latch modes - even though there is only one set of controls.

Alphatrack now supports Audition - see http://frontierdesign.com/Support/Downloads - report to follow.

BCF2000 et al seems to have been dropped by Behringer and the support info, drivers etc are now buried deep in the site - but I found them at http://tinyurl.com/2h8smh (the original link is huge!).  Might be worth downloading the "service pack" from there to be sure.
