I wasn't sure because I was under the assumption that RedRover was a stand-alone device. It's only made for The Cool Edit/Audition family as far as I know. So my guess was coming from the fact that the RedRover unit is designed for it alone. But I see your point here. Thanks!!!
Okay, slightly longer explanation...
AFAIK, you can get a plugin for Sonar 4 (and probably later versions) that will let you use the Red Rover with that as well. It may have been designed for CEP/AA, but fundamentally it's still a MIDI-based USB controller. And on that basis, it may yet work at the same time as another one, but with one proviso. The only way we'll ever know if this is really true, though, is if somebody tries them both together. The proviso is that for this to happen, both controllers would have to obey the same protocol - it's the protocol that has to be selected, rather than the device. My understanding is that the Behringer uses the Mackie protocol, and that isn't directly compatible with the Red Rover one, and
that's why I don't think it will work - it's not just because there are two controllers present.
