Is it possible to buy a S/Pdif card only and put it into the same computer and have Reason running through that? I know my Layla has a S/Pdif connection. Also, is there a quality issue with S/Pdif?

I have two cards in my computer.  Both M-Audio Deltas.  They both have s/pdif ins and outs and Reason will work by running it through one card while Audition runs through the other.  I have not tried s/pdif hookups through the two cards.  When I did use both cards within the same computer, I inputed Reason into Audition via Re-wire.  I don't like to do it that way because it bogs down the processor much more than running Reason on the Mac and inputing it via s/pdif.

If there are quality issues with s/pdif, I am unaware of them.

I know this has been mentioned before - by Steve I think, but remember when you send channels to a bus, select "none" in the bottom send of each channel instead of "Master", otherwise you send both to the bus and the master

whoa!  didn't even realize this.  thanks.
