Christmas morning and I'm noodling with a guitar while my wife prepares for the arrival of our children this afternoon for our traditional festive meal and celebration.

One take of a tune by Jerome Kern, from the 1930's movie "Swing Time." This one won the Academy Award, I believe. When Jerome first played this for Dorothy Fields, who later wrote the lyrics, she reportedly cried, "because it was so beautiful!"

It's gotten me a nice kiss....      smiley

No processing on this whatsoever!   Merry Christmas, everyone!

I can really like the low end on some home recordings.  It's so easy to make it work.  afro

And no need for either MIDI or mastering.  Not even on that note bend at the end.  Nice.
