I found this topic in the net when experimenting with one tool to automate optimized audio encoding. MPE Torture Test (
http://audiomastersforum.net/amforum/index.php/topic,5625.0.html) made me very curious and I took it for my experiment. Here are the results, please let me know if you hear any difference or find audio much corupted. Please don't look at bit rate or other characteristics of audio... just listen.
The proceudure creating these files is very simple (when using the tool I have): I run a batch file that changes bitrates until the quality of the compressed file is excellent and the tool I use can measure the quality.
I would love to experiment with other uncompressed files and appreciate links to them.
