MT Style Level Envelopes in EV

It would be nice to apply visually authored, or even with a controller in some situations, volume envelopes in Edit View, if only for the purpose of not being forced to mixdown from Multitrack to apply the envelopes.  I sometimes make use of the envelope process in the effects of EV, but I prefer to have the waveform in view when doing this.

Please let me know if this exists and I have missed all this time.  Thanks.

I believe that something like this exists in the Mac Public beta version of AA4 so may be in the PC version when it arrives.
