WWW

Hi guys,

unfortunately I can't create a new topic with attachment size like 20 MB:

The following error or errors occurred while posting this message:
Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message.
No subject was filled in.
The message body was left empty.

What can I do to post my message including mp3-file?

Any help appreciated - btw: There is no such sub-menue-item like "Administration" which I could use for my concern now...

Greetings
Guido

The attachment is too big for the server to accept. You will either have to reduce the file size or provide a link to where it is stored.

Why would you need to attach a 20Mb MP3 file - that's a lot of playing time?

Our current file size limit per file is 10Mbytes - which should be enough for most purposes.

Hi guys,

thanks for the replys! In fact the file has a length of more than 12 minutes - I wanted to present a very fine piece of organ music to all of you as a kind of "thank you" for all the help I got from you. And since pw was able to post files of 200 MB I didn't think of such things as "file size".

I try to reduce quality level to an acceptable niveau and will keep you posted.

Regards
Guido

OK, lower quality than 192 kbs is NOT acceptable - so I realized an ftp access.

Take a look at http://www.soundcloud.com which allows you to post up to 2 hours of music and then link to it from another website. You can also control just who can access the files if you want to share something privately.

Cheers

James.
