First off I'd like to apologize for my 3rd post in 2 days.  As I mentioned in another post, I've reformatted my home computer and reinstalled Audition many times (probably 5-7 times on different computers) and never have I had any problems.  However, this time I was on holidays for a week and my computer got reformatted, and now audition's acting up big time.

I have a question about time stretching in Multi-Track mode.  I use this feature alot and really like it.  Basically, to enable it, all you do is go to "clip - time-stretching properties"  When the box opens click "enable time stretching"

Well I've done that, as I have a million times before but for some reason it's not working.

When I made this change, the clips in multi track now have the little alarm clock logo on the bottom left corner (which is what should happen), but it won't let me actually do any time-stretching.

Before, I would hold my mouse over the bottom corner of a clip and the cursor would change from the arrow, to a little alarm clock, and I could just drag the clip to as long or as short as I wanted.   I miss that.

Does anybody know why this isn't working?

Randy.

Try checking on View/Enable Clip Time Stretching.

Yup, that did it.  Thanks so much.

I figured it would be an easy fix.

Randy.
