They don't work anymore. They need to be updated. At least, everything past  "/amforum/".

It presents a pretty major lack of functionality.

We'll only do that if we can find an automated way of doing it. Because none of us are going through 7100 threads by hand!

You shouldn't have to.

Link A : (Wich doesn't work.) = http://audiomastersforum.net/amforum/viewtopic.php?t=3840

changed to....

Link B : = http://audiomastersforum.net/amforum/index.php/topic,3840.html   (Wich does.)

A search and replace with a simple Regular Expression would manage this. The topic numbers are still present. Otherwise, yeah, it'd be thread by thread.

It won't take you to a specific page or post, but will get you to the proper thread....

WWW

You could do that change in an Apache rewrite if you have access to the config.

It's strange. If I do a search for strings that are unique to the act of linking to another forum thread, like -> "viewtopic.php", or, "index.php/topic,"  I only get a page or so of results for each.

I know what I'm not finding in the search results are the links that are nested...like :

here.

So I can't really get a count on how many actually exist.

But, I can't imagine that there's only a few dozen of these things TOTAL...?

When I said 'we' above, that was the royal 'we'. This is Despised7's territory...
