Would anybody know how to adjust the volume on a section of a track? For example, verse 1 is too loud...but verse 2 is good in the mix. Is this possible? Thank you.

yes

dont have v2 but there are undoubtedly several ways to approach this

attached image shows one

activate the volume enveliope   tgis can be done either by clicking icon (circled at top of session) or from View menu

enlarge section of audio for comfortable visual editing

click on appropriate clip,  click on volume envelope to create an anchor or edit point, drag it up to increase, down to decrease

red line suggests volume decrease for that section of that clip

Or you can simply click on the mixer window in Multi track mode and move the fader up or down for that particular track.
