DirectX FX doesnt show up

Im trying to use autotune but i dont even see directx fx under fx.

(1) Close Adobe Audition.
(2) Open the Registry by going to the Start Menu, selecting Run, then typing regedit, and clicking OK.
(3) Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, go to the key
\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Audition\Plugin\DirectX\
(4) Locate the Data Item whose Name is (02A06B08-744E-40E3-8B78-E45D71750DC8)
(5) Delete that item.
(6) Close the Registry.
(7) Run Adobe Audition.

^^^^ i've already tried that. I cant even find the data item.

Effects>Enable DirectX Effects? Works fine here...

I Dont even see enable directx effects. the only thing under effects is envelope follower, frequency band splitter, and vocoder.

Check the effects menu while in Edit view.

You are using 3.0?  Could you post a screen shot of what you see?

Yes its 3.0

You are in multitrack view.  Go to Edit view as advised by Despised7.
Pressing the number 8 will take you to edit view - 9 will take you to Multitrack view
Or press the 1st Icon on the menu bar for Edit view

Then follow the instructions provided by others earlier.
