Need a good De-Esser

Anyone know of a good inexpensive (or possibly even free) de-esser?  Prefer one that's effective, but not too complicated.

I like using Audition's multi-band compressor for de-essing.  ReaXcomp works very well also, and is free (plus you can keep adding as many bands as you need).

Thanks for the reply, Despised.  Do you find the Audition MB compressor fairly effective?  Do you use the existing preset?

I've seen ReaXcomp, but never tried it  Is that available individually -- or just in a suite?

Audition's Multi-Band compressor is great, I use it a heck of a lot!  I don't use a preset, I just set everything to zero and move the Mid and High bars until the "ssssss" frequencies for that particular voice are between them.  Then I mess with the threshold and ratio settings until it sound ok.  If you do too much the "ssss" will start to sound like "shhhh".

But, the other plugs in the package are really good too.  So it's worth the download!

Seems like I might have tried this plug quite a while ago.  But as I recall, I wasn't quite sure how to set some of the settings (depth and sense??).  Maybe it's just a matter of playing around with them until you find the right combination.  Sure wish there were a little manual -- or at least some truncated guidelines to help a new user understand the controls.
