Hey all,

I'm working with a beatboxer who is using the metronome.  We aren't creating loops really, but we are recording 8 measures and then dragging them over, and trying our best to match them up to the metronome on the ONE, to get 8 bars, then do it again... and again.

The issue we're having is that's it's hard to line them up exactly.  Is there a way for the metronome to show up visually on the Multitrack screen so it's OBVIOUS where the one is, or for that matter, where beat in a measure is?

I'm rather lost with this and there's got to be an easier and more time efficient and exacting way to do this...  help!

Thanks

Have you tried setting the horizontal ruler to "Display Time Format > Bars and Beats"?  You can also set the snapping to the ruler in the same right-click context menu.

ahhhhh I see.. that's a huge help...  there's still a fair amount of tweaking that needs to done of course in order to get these to line up, but those guidelines def. help.

THANKS!

How 'bout recording the metronome signal on a separate track so you can see the ticks he's beat-boxing to?
