recording help (from streaming source)

I have a Dell Laptop(with vista) for some reason when i try to record audio from a steaming video like from youtube or something it wont record i was able to at one point but now i cant

Check your settings and make sure you are using the correct driver. Also are you able to record anythign else?

i have no problem recording using my line in but trying to record streaming video it just doesnt.

Some streaming media like Real Player and WMP prevent you from recording it, at least in Vista, I think there are ways around it in XP..
