OK, now my old P3 home computer does this on XPSP2 with IE7.
This is a much newer machine - AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.2 GHz, running XP SP2.
And it doesn't have to be AudioMasters.... or does it? Hmmmm.... Something to try later, but I think it's happened without ever touching the AM pages. I was suspecting our antivirus software of doing something.
Certainly only happens on AM for me - all other forums and websites work without any problem. I do have AV software installed (or course, who wouldn't?) but I've been using the same one for years now, so I doubt if that's the cause of the problem.
Yes, now that you mention it: I've kept right on surfing and only hit "OK" when the last window needs to be closed.
I find that's the weirdest thing of all. Normally, when this message appears, IE just locks up and you have to acknowledge the fault before it shuts down. With this, I just park the message out of the way and carry on
