IE Crashes on specific page

Does anyone have any idea why IE6 crashes every time I visit this page - http://audiomastersforum.net/amforum/index.php/topic,6560.0 ?

Everywhere else on this site works, other sites are fine - just this one page causes IE to shut down - very odd!

It works fine in both Firefox and Netscape - just IE falls over.

First, clear the IE cache - fixes most puzzling IE problems.  Otherwise, as an experiment, try changing the forum theme to see if it's related to that.

It works fine in Neptune with IE7...

Works fine here in IE6. Main difference with other pages is that a link to file is provided, but I can't imagine this causes the crash.

Well, I've now established that it's not this particular page which is the problem, but the Audiomaster forum in general.  It all seems to depend on how long I'm online before the error message appears.  I don't see this anywhere else I visit.

Of course, in its usual fashion, the erorr message doesn't say what is wrong, merely that IE  has "encountered a problem and needs to close"  More interestingly, I can, in fact, continue to browse around the complete forum, enter messages and everything else without any hindrance whatsover - so whatever the 'problem' is, it doesn't stop IE from working.

OK, now my old P3 home computer does this on XPSP2 with IE7.  And it doesn't have to be AudioMasters....  or does it?  Hmmmm....  Something to try later, but I think it's happened without ever touching the AM pages.  I was suspecting our antivirus software of doing something.

This is a much newer machine - AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.2 GHz, running XP SP2.

Certainly only happens on AM for me - all other forums and websites work without any problem.  I do have AV software installed (or course, who wouldn't?) but I've been using the same one for years now, so I doubt if that's the cause of the problem.

I find that's the weirdest thing of all.  Normally, when this message appears, IE just locks up and you have to acknowledge the fault before it shuts down.  With this, I just park the message out of the way and carry on
