Is there anyway to use Loopology without having to load 5 gigs worth of content onto my computer?  Is there anyway to access files straight from the DVD-rom?

The DVD-rom would be a bit inconvenient, no? If you've got a free USB port, how about using an external hard-drive? They're quite cheap these days.

You can take the files straight from the DVD, however, depending on the spec of your machine, the more files you use, the slower the playback. To get around this, construct your song with all the loops you need and then save it to another folder, making sure you check the box "Save copies of all associated files" This way you'll not take up the ram needed for processing.
