Hi!

I'm using a UA25 and just upgraded from AA 1.0 to 2.0. With AA 1.0 I had no access to Windows mixer. It just disappeared. I hoped this wouldn't happen with AA 2.0, but SAME THING. I've just tried to reinstall the UA25 drivers, with no result.

What could that be?

Have you had the windows mixer with the UA25 before?  Some drivers don't do the Windows Mixer thing.  My MOTU 24i  doesn't do the Windows Mixer thing, and my Echo Audiofire12 has very limited options in the mixer.

You mean that with the UA25 the Windows mixer disappears?  Maybe you are right. But how do I control the recording volume then??

The MOTU and ECHO rigs have their own mixer applications, but they have line level analog inputs so I control the record level by adjusting what I feed them (preamp gain).  Your UA25 has a couple of knobs on the front.  Don't those work?
