cannot access these tools!

i cant access the lasso & marquee tools.any help?everything else works.

My DAW is shutdown right now, so I can't test - but my first guess is that you've selected a different mouse mode or cursor tool (using different terms for the same thing).  I always work with the HYBRID tool and when stuff stops working I find that somehow I've changed modes.

Aren't those Photoshop tools?

i figured it out i bypassed the fact that i was not in spectural freq. view an was in edit view so that means that those tools are not availabe in edit view.thanks anyway

They may well be - but they are also AA2.0 tools, as you'd realise if you held the mouse over the icons for them on the toolbar...

As rebel has already discovered, to access them, you go View>Spectral Frequency Display, and then either Edit>Tools>{select the one you want} or just use the conveniently placed tools, as aforementioned.
