Will Audition edit AAC files?  I need to be able to apply normalize and hard limit to some volume-weak audio files.

Are these the MP4 files (MPEG-4)? Nope, unsupported in AA. But those who want to experiment with MP4, you can open up an MP3 in QuickTime and export it as MP4. The filesize and sound quality are superb.

The MP4 app that a lot of people prefer is DBPowerAmp. This has always had a good reputation. IIRC there are potential stability problems with the Rarewares plugin - I seem to recall reports from a while back saying that it can cause crashes... (perhaps somebody can confirm whether I've remembered this correctly)
