Forum rules

Why are Forum Rules' sections bulleted now? The version history does not make sense anymore (v.1.4 - section n extended in scope - where is section n?). And it was nice to be told by SteveG that he deleted a post because the author had violated rule, say, d and k. An explanation like "you violated rule fifth from top, no, I mean, it's third from bottom" does not sound authoritative enough! wink

It's gonna be fixed. It was changed when we switched over to SMF 1.09, which did not support any type of numbering, or alphabetical bullets.

Yeah, I altered the rules page at changeover because the previous version became almost unreadable. Unfortunately the new scheme doesn't work very well from a layout POV - it doesn't appear to allow a separation line between indexed items, and whilst I'm sure that there's a fix for this, I haven't got round to finding it yet.

Yeah, my supposed "easy" fix messed everything up. I have to step out of the house for a while, but when I get back I'll look into a different approach to fix the lists. I put everything back to normal.
