I wanted to see if Adobe Audition 2.0 was right for me.  I was wondering if there was anyway to get the pdf of the manual so I could thumb through it, as to get a better feel for it.

See this thread, which is immediately adjacent to yours... and with an appropriate title, I would have thought. Please note forum rule 1b. You will only get a feel for AA2.0 if you download and run the trial version - the manual won't give you anything at all from that POV.
