Evaluate my sung jingle, please.

This my latest work, a Top of the hour cut, please tell me what you think about it.

- Music track (my production)

- Vocals (1 female lead singer and 1 couple in background)

- Accent (The lead singer is american, the others don´t) - This is very important for me.

- Mastering.

- Creativity.

Question : Would you play this jingle on your radio?

We don't hear enough singing on this one to make a judgement, but I would say that the production needs a lot of work (the "92 Crow FM" bit especially). It's more difficult to get sung jingles right because the production is really all about the singing, which is not the case with matching the elements on spoken imaging. I really like the voices though.

Bed was fine, vocals were crap. I would recommend stronger singers and power down on the effects a bit. People have to hear the positioning statement and it was totally lost...Crow FM, Pro FM...not sure!

The synth work needs some polishing.  The "FM" and the last word are out of tune, as well.

You need to do something to make these vocals punch through more.  Try sloping off starting at 120 Hz to cut the bass.

Let me first say I LOVE jingles.  For those of you who have downloaded some of material know that (cough) BERNIE  LOL

Heres my two cents worth.....first this needs to be more upbeat.  it sounds like its for a top 40.  I have attached a produced toh for an EXAMPLE....not to brag cuz I didnt produce the jingles.  I HAVE spoken with several producers at various jingle companies--IQ BEATS--N2EFFECT and even good ol REELWORLD.  They dont give away their secrets very easily.  Auto tune is a MUST have for jingles.  Get it.  Learn it. Use it.  That brings me to my next point.  What demo is this for?  The singers dont match the genre of the jingle.  THAT is also a must.  You probably wont hear the same singers for an oldies station singing for a top 40 set of jingles.  

Its good, but I believe you can do better.  Tweak it. Play with it.  Repost it.  I wanna hear.
