Anyone using on-air SFX firing sofware similar to this?

I'd just build a looped file of adequate length. What you do then depends on the particular hardware/mixer/interface setup.

When you do the VO, you have to be listening anyway to get the rhythm right, so you'll know when to drop the loop and start the next 'cart'.

Buy a keyboard sequencer.

Another option is jingle palette, this has the facilty to loop audio but again will play 2 pieces of audio at once.

That's nearly exactly what I was originally looking for, thanks a bunch for the tip Toneranger. I think JinglePalette might just do the trick. One missing feature that would end my search: color-coded buttons. Aside from that, it's excellent, thanks for the lead.

The only one I can think of with colour coded buttons is Stinger (already mentioned).

The software below I have not tried and looks like wavs only.
