Hello,

I just installed Audition 2.0 (well about 20 minutes ago), on my music PC and it doesn't have version 1.0 installed but the installation worked as long as I typed my version 1.0 serial number during the install procedure.

Anyway, my question is that the program seems to be VERY slow to start up! I pressed on the Audition Icon on my desktop and it took about 30 seconds or so to start up. My other programs take about 1 or 2 seconds!! I run by the way a clean, mean efficient PC with no crap on it.

I haven't authorised it yet so I am wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Can anyone please shed some light on this? Does anyone out there also have slow start up?

Thanks

Thank you for your reply Zemlin. But isn't about 30 seconds or so a bit too long or is this also the case with you (and anyone else out there)? Or is it completely normal for it to take so long.

Thank you

WWW

I clocked it on my old Dual PIII 800 - it came in at about 30 seconds.  I have not tried it on my DAW - it is not hooked up right now.  Maybe tomorrow morning I'll have it up and running again.

It's slow to start the first time in an XP session - but if you close it and restart it, it's much quicker.
