Hello, everybody.

My name is Gabriel Passajou and this is my first mp3 here.

There are 3 sung jingles (with all the versions) for KIC FM in Wolverhampton - UK. Its a young, pop/rock format.

I produced the music bed too.

I would like to hear your opinions. Thanks and its great to be here, I learn a lot with you guys.  Cheesy

Thanks.

Hello from down the road in the 3 Spires City Passajou.

Thought I'd start you off as I've been posting here a lot recently for opinions.

Hope it helps, bear in mind I am no production expert yet though! wink

From what I heard the vox sounded good. Clear, the compression and EQ seemed fine to me.

Generally like the main messages you are going for and the positioning statements fit well with the music.

When I listened to the file you posted I wondered if each repeat of the various sections were intended to form 3 main clips or smaller components?

Thought these would be best used as smaller exerpts that last 10-15 seconds I think. I especially like the dry sections at the end with the heavy processing. Short sections could be used as effective drops.

Where was the music from? Did you generate it yourself?

Depending what audience you are trying to reach will really depend whether the music works - what do you play on KIC FM? Nice to see a really rough/raw version as well as the polished versions? Lots of guitar feedback and streaming of the station name (Pete Doherty style - for those of you from the UK!).

IMHO - Overall, really like them, sound good.

Thanks for the feedback, Finsletown.

Smaller components, each jingle has 12 to 15 seconds. The file is divided like this:

3 main slogan IDs + 3  IDs (without the slogan, or ramp version) + 3 shotguns + acappellas elements.

Yes, I created the music tracks.

I don’t work at KIC FM , just did their sung jingles, but here´s KIC´s website: www.kicfm.co.uk      Cheesy

Cheers.

Raw, fresh teenage energy that goes nicely into a Son Of Dork or Arctic Monkeys song. In the UK send demos to the likes of Kerrang and XFM, and also Zane Lowe at BBC Radio 1. Hurry up now, and best o luck  wink

Cheesy

Not really an expert on jingles (I'll leave that to Bernie), but I thought they sounded awesome.  Nice work.

I like, all that's missing for me is a female to back your voice up... Good voice that would sound less redundant if once in a while you hear a female... Perhaps even a whisper behind you.

Nice work
