I posted this over on the main Adobe forum, but I know how some of you aren't fans of that system so I wanted to add it over here, too. Smiley

I just wanted to drop a quick note on the forums to let everyone know that now that we've got the new version shipping (and Adobe has set up a nice new blogging system) I've decided the time has come to set up my own blog. I plan on sharing some of my own thoughts on Audition and it's users, as well as the occasional tip or trick. Right now the cupboard is pretty bare (since today's the first day) but my aim is to post there a couple times a week at least. As I say on the blog, I hope it's useful and if it's not useful, I hope it's interesting! The URL is:

Can this topic, or at least the blog link, be made sticky?  Or added to the top of the screen along with the other links (Archives, Donate, Adobe, etc.)?

Thanks Hart and welcome to the forum.  You're gonna find some real friends here  wink

Somebody is going to ask this question so let's get it out in the open. Will there ever be a version of Audition that is MIDI enabled. Either Adobe Audition Standard or Adobe Audition Pro?

I think have a "Standard" Audio version and a "Pro" Audio/Midi version.

There now, that's that cheesy

Regards

Mark

There is no way he'll answer that question at all. Adobe never reveals its future intentions about software under any circumstances.

Something that I meant to say yesterday, but forgot in the headlong rush, was that there's a podcast interview with Hart available at http://podtech.net/ courtesy of our member J-Lo, who asked me to pass the information on in a suitable place. This seems like an eminently suitable place to me...

And for those who missed it, I interviewed Hart on Building the pod as well.

J-Lo also requested I spread the word around about the podcast, which I have done.  Then I listened to it on the way to Phoenix last night on business.

Great work!

Having just looked again at Hart's blog, I have to say that it's in severe danger of turning into a mini-forum of its own - it's got questions appearing on it that would be rather more appropriate here or on the Adobe forum. I know that you can do this with a blog, but somehow it doesn't seem quite right...

Well, rather than polluting Hart's blog with frivolity, maybe when he has a spare moment he can let us know here what his role of "Dynamic Directives Planner" really entails.  smiley

Personally, I thought that this meant that you could issue a directive, and then change your mind about it....  evil  Tongue

But it can't just be changing your mind on a whim, it has to be quite deliberate.
