Hey guys...

I'm wondering why I can't the same quality on CD as my finished mixdown...

I am saving as Windows PCM wav... but the wav sounds a little off from the original but when I burn the wav it sounds very hissy and louder...

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you've got the volume turned up on CD replay! Also, if you are playing back your CD from within the PC, it's probably not going to sound too good anyway - CD drives in PCs are not optimised for playing audio, and in fact some will significantly reduce the quality when playing CD-Rs anyway. If you want to get frightened now!, read and inwardly digest

'CD Writing - the Truth - or is it???'

and

'CD Writing - a bit more of the truth...'

This may seem like a blatent plug, but actually, it's what it's there for.
