I'm useing Adobe Audition to record my vinyl collection to mp3's, the recordings are fine the problem is i can't hear the audio while i'm recording it.I've checked the preferences and i think everything looks ok,but i can't get a peep out of it.Connection is from headphone socket to pc,
i've also tried from pre amp to pc but still nothing.
As a test i've tried various trials and freeware of other audio editing software and i can hear the sound when recording.I just can't hear it when useing Audition CS5.5
Useing Windows 7 and hdmi sound via my graphics card(useing latest update).I think it must be a setting somewhere but i just can't find it.Thanks in advance for any help. Here's 2 screenshots.

WWW

I think you are looking in the wrong place.  This isn't an Audition problem, it's more likely related to the setting of the soundcard mixer (either the stock Windows mixer or one that was installed with the card).
