Arranged and played by a good friend.

Recorded in 2008.

I confess it is very well done!

But....

I feel jazz players purposely remove the tension in lyrics and the rhythms in the phrasing and make every song a purely instrumental exploration of tone where the vocals become just another instrument. Yes I know you disagree, and I love some jazz from a purely textural point of view, but I have never cried to a pure jazz song like I have to some great rock/pop ballads, now why is that?

Nice!

I'd been listening to the music tracks that been shared here. I cannot help but to notice that most of you guys are using sound cloud. Is it good a site? Just asking. Because the site caught my attention.

Thanks!

Hi again,

Thanks for your feedback, it really means a lot to me!

About soundcloud, up until now it's been a fantastic and free experience... I truly recommend it.  smiley

The guitar sounds home recorded.  That's not a critique, it's just a sound.  The take on the tune is very clever, and the vocal delivery is wonderful, and the sound you or the tracker got on the vocal makes the unusual sounding guitar work.  I really like it.  Plus I didn't have to join Soundcloud to listen to the tune. T'um up.
