Tempting but don't need it at present.  In other words, a want vs. need issue!

Have you played with it?  Best thing since sliced bread?

WWW

There are some appreciative initial comments on it in this thread on the Sound on Sound forum.

There are also a few not so appreciative comments as well - but I wonder if these are people who have been overdoing it somewhat. Also, there's a comment about it being 'harsh'. The most telling one though was the person who mentioned instant gratification, and not learning basic stuff any more - I think he's got a point, because I can't really imagine that this is going to do anything that you couldn't do in Audition as it stands (admittedly, possibly with the addition of a full version of Ozone) - if you know what you're doing.

Not saying that it wouldn't have its uses if you are in to instant gratification but for me at least, I'm not going there, and that's not just  because I have no immediate use for it...

Well, obviously I don't need it either, 'cos I didn't get around to trying it out before the demo expired!

Drat!  Well, next time I have a project with significant solo vocals (none at present), maybe I'll give that demo a try.  Like, next year!

When it launched we tried the demo and had a lot of fairly breathy v/o to edit and build into a project.
It helped enough with that specific job that we bought it. Saved some time, but used sparingly (like all things)
to just reduce some of the heavier breaths, was not trying to completely "de-breath".  I liked how it was
able to even out the breaths more in that case.

Most of the other stuff I think you can do in Ozone just fine, though we also have Alloy here and sometimes
use that.
