http://www.bores.com/index.htm is the site - I've read through the first part and it seems accurate and well presented, as a simple introduction to DSP.

Or is my judgment in error?

(Bit of an unfortunate name for someone running training courses, but then it's unforgettable!)

Well, I'd give it a look, but at the moment their site is unavailable!  At least here.

That's some intense reading!  Might have to read through each page several times before it sinks in (if it ever does).  embarassed

Looks very astute.  Not free, but anyone who makes complexities simpler is worth paying!

I found this free book to be a pretty good introduction, and it is also pretty easy to read and understand,
(at least from my perspective) but thorough enough to actually write algorithms from.

http://www.dspguide.com/pdfbook.htm

The download version is entirely free, but  you can also pay for a Hardcopy.

Personally, having search able pdf files is better for me than a hardcopy, but you will have to go through
the trouble of downloading each chapter

Nice link - thanks.

http://www.moultonlabs.com/weblog/more/bits_really_bits links to some commonsense articles.

I'm always interested in stuff that helps counter some of the crazy talk on net forums.
