Haven't managed to get to testing this yet - there is an annoying thing called work which is currently consuming far too much of my valuable time - it seems lots of companies have suddenly realised that their entire approach to information security isn't worth the paper it mostly isn't documented on! rolleyes

MarkT - give it a go when you can - it really is a gem (even if I do say so myself)

This one should really be a sticky IMO - once you have used it you really will wonder what you did with out it

I actually use this one myself!
I would say more but its a security issue  grin

This app is a favourite of mine and even if no-one else ever used it I use it ALL the time!

Anyway enough rambling - I've started work on a new version of this old favourite.

When finished it will be switchable from Audition to Reaper mode - if nothing else it will help me clean up my hard disk from testing all these other DAWs for AAtranslator smiley

FWIW I have just uploaded version 5.00 of MediaSweeper.

Apart from reducing the donation to $10USD (and adding a few minor enhancements like NOT formating your hard disk if you don't donate) it now caters for Reaper (RPP) project files.

PS In case you didn't pick up on the formating thing - its a joke smiley

In my haste to convert this application to suit Reaper I introduced a couple of annoying bugs  (on the Reaper side) - thanks dstdean.

Those bugs have been corrected and I have also added an option to keep related 'reapeaks' files (Reaper's 'pk' equivalent) - ie ones which belong to the selected RPP file(s).

Version 5.1 is available for download from www.mediasweeper.com.au

Let me know what you think

Hello - there have been over 6700 views and around 2000 downloads - I know the apps not perfect (I've reserved that for v6.0) - so someone must think something?

Sigh.....

PS And no I didn't put the bugs in just so I had something to do smiley

Ok version 5.2 of MediaSweeper is now available.

It fully supports Reaper and and has improved multiple session file support for both Audition & Reaper.

Download from www.mediasweeper.com.au

And yes it is still donationware!

We were having some problems where MediaSweeper did not properly install on some PCs so we have totally rewritten the installation package.

If someone would be kind enough to download and test this installation it would be appreciated.

Probably best to uninstall the old one.

I just removed my previous version and downloaded and installed the latest, with no errors. Tested it on a few sessions and it is all good.
