Hello Everyone. I am trying to make a decision and need some help. I am currently using AA 2 and have been thinking about switching to PRO TOOLS due to so many more options with Plug INS and such.  Does anyone habe an opinion what I should do?

SHOULD I STAY WITH AA or SWITCH TO PRO TOOLS?

Thanks for your help. grin

No contest.

Upgrade to AA3 in a couple of months for $99.

But hey, this is an AA forum!

Unless you're considering an HD system, AA wins, hands down.  Pro Tools LE and M Powered aren't nearly as powerful as AA.  Even when it comes to plug-ins, I'm not really sure what you can find in RTAS that is distinctly different from something you can find in VST or DX.  There are a few fancy TDM plug-ins, but again, those will only run on the HD platform, and comparing a $350 program to a $10,000+ system is comparing apples and oranges.
