Enable DX effects in AA 2.0 failed and AA frozen

I need help.

I tried to enable DX effects in Audition 2.0. It went on and then would stop at 25% showing 'DX:ROXIO AudioConvert' in the lower right hand corner in the pop-up windows. I tried a few times and even created a DX sub directory in AA2 main directory.

Audition will freeze and I have to kill the app. As a result my DX effects cannot be refreshed and usable.

Can you offer some advice to resolve this?

Uninstall Roxio AudioConvert effect, and try again.
