Billie, do you want to open the sessions that come with Audition?

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Audition 2.0\Audition Theme

Run any of the .ses files

Hi BFM

No I don't think I want what you talk about BFM...

I think my problem, for that time, is more with PPro ! I post here because I suppose (and hope) any person do the same :
working the video realisation in APP and clean the sound of the video with AA.

There's the integration of the both, as you know I suppose. In APP u right click on the audio clip and AA open the wave form
of the clip. If u do anything in AA and save, it appears automatically into the timeline of APP, in place of the original work
you have done first, and a new .wav is created in ze bin (and in your HDD too ^^ +Go!)

The rush is intact in the bin of APP, but that I woul'd like is to recover my first work immediately,
or pass from new "real" to old one for to hear the difference between the original and the one work with AA.

In a dream... It's as if APP (help by AA maybe), woul be able to launch a memory picture of the differents way u try !

thanks BFM

Billie, I know what you're asking.  You're using the Premiere Pro "Edit Original in Audition" command.  The two programs "talk" to each other, so when you save your edit in Audition, Premiere updates and your video is rendered with the freshly edited audio.

Unfortunately the original file will then be gone -- unless you have a backup, tape, disc, or some other original "master" source.  But saving in Audition's Edit View is destructive.  You've written over the original data.

That's why keeping a separate folder of raw files is a great idea.  Or complete system backups on a frequent basis.

Does that help?

Yes Billie, as MusicConductor said, make a copy of the original Wave and work on one and keep the other un-changed.

Thanks a lot !

Yes sure that help me ! First because of your answer : it's not possible !
second : your answer permit me to think, to try... an other way...
...and maybe I found a parade, ok for me, I submit if you see something wrong or annoying :

Let you know :
When I work the sound, when I jump to AA, I don't work with an only one .avi,
but with the multiples cut(s) of the 'realisation' ;
so i have plenty of .wav to work. I don't no if it's the right way, ? ,
but it seems convenient for me because all the little clip don't need the same work,
for e.i. some need noise reduction some not.

So, my solution at the problem :
In APP, before going in AA, I do a paste of all the sequence in an other sequence. That's all_folks Wink

Just try :
Seq1 : work in AA change the wav in Seq1 in APP but the twin sister in Seq1'bis' there's no change no change.
So if you want to hear the difference of the clips you go from a seq to the other.

Its so important because sometimes, as you do I suppose, on the timeline,
the .wav is not the original wave of the rush and it's the mess to refind
where you had brougt (bring)  it, in all of the rush, or other place !
e.i : A realisation where Playing on the beach not with the talk of the persons but with a Beach boys song...

one again thanks a lot for your help, because that stop me to destroy all of my timeline !
