Meters just QUIT !

My meters just quit and will not function while recording ...Why  ?...I need my meters, at least one or two !!!

Try reinstalling your soundcard drivers - these are often rather more implicated in this than you might realise...

 Ok, Thanks for answering.  Tried that, Deleted them then reinstalled, no joy. Meters work monitoring, but as soon as I click to record, They stop...The "red" light goes out as well, Still records fine though....Any Ideas ?

Are you sure you are using an asio soundcard driver?

Yes, ASIO4ALL re-installed them.

This might help:

Open your sessions property window from the " window " drop down menu ( if it is not already open at the bottom right hand corner )
In the box labeled monitoring select Audition mix ( you may have accidentally selected external ) and also select the button labeled " always input "
