Right...It's a better workaround (for me) than the alternative of disconnecting one channel all togther. But it isn't really a FIX at all. I'm waiting from a response to find out if this is inherent in all 0404's, or if it's specific to mine. I would guess that most people that would by an inexpensive card like the 0404 would probably not even notice the problem. If it IS inherent in all 0404's, E-mu needs to address the problem. I don't think a proper recording is too much to ask from a semi-professional card.
