I think it would be a really great feature for AA on laptops if Adobe took the window layouts concept and also applied that to allow selectable hardware layouts.  Then I could set up my dual head monitors + firewire audio layout for home use, and single head + onboard sound layout for mobile use and easily switch between them in one hit.  Hart, are you still lurking here?  smiley

When I switch back and forth between the firewire, onboard, usb and other interfaces, I always seem to have to poke at the audio setup more than once before all the warning messages about having 'no record interface enabled' disappear.
