track cue lists in aa1.5 don't transfer to CD project view

Using AA1.5 , I have individually selected sections of audio as a track and ALT-INS (set track cue range) in Edit Waveform View.  Repeating this for all 13 tracks of a record,  and then  -after "selecting all"- use Edit-Insert in CD project.
Unfortunately it never inserts all of the indivdual tracks as separate tracks, but just  inserts into one long track, all 13 tracks I have identified, as one track lasting 40 minutes.

Do I have to one at a time select in Edit Waveform View a single track, highlight it, and then ALT-INS to insert separate tracks into the CD project?
