Is there a manifestation already?
Have double sided cdr's have a future.

I remember there was a topic on this some time ago so I don't want to get into too much depth.

A simple yes or no or not sure will do. Smiley

Well, they don't exist now, and I can't imagine them ever seeing the light of day either.... why would you bother to invest all that R+D capital into a format that could only store 2x700MB, when you can buy an internal DVD recorder for your PC for under $100, blanks to go with it for under a buck, with storage capacities starting at 4.7GB?

The May issue of Home Theater magazine has a article about a new disc that Warner, Universal, EMI, BMG and Sony are working on. It's called DualDisc and it has CD on one side and DVD on the other side.
Pretty vague at this time but I am sure we will hear more as time goes on.
