Hi
I will install W2k in my Acer 1300 aspire but I dont have the driver of Ethernet card VIA Chipset internal + LSI 80227, 10/100Mbps.
anybody can said my, courteously where I can find it ?

Hi! I've got the same notebook. Acer tells me that there are no other drivers for the modem, the ethernet-card and some other stuff than xp-drivers. Sorry.

I know this is no help.
I have shown in the past that I am quite enthusiastic about the Acer Travelmate series of laptops. With at least some of these it is possible to juggle with drivers between series and thus load different OS's. I used this technique to move from ME to W2k on one machine, even though Acer said that it was impossible. That's what you would expect them to say.
Do older versions of the Aspire series exist? I suppose it is unlikely that any came out before XP.
My brief perusals of the Aspire series haven't inspired me very much. Where is the line-in jack?
