Recording Input levels are solely the responsibility (and a function) of the soundcard - not the application. Some soundcards have 'gain' in their mixer panels (the Aardvark series is one them), but as AndyH mentioned, most don't, and the input gain is fixed (albeit, sometimes selectable between -10 and +4) ---Syntrillium, M.D. _________________
