Hi All. I need a good quality low end Sound card for digital recording only. no midi/no mixing/editing/mastering...etc....

I just want to get 10 to 12 tracks on, burn to CD. And then Mix on Protools at a friends house.

Is a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 a decent soundcard?

Thanks for any feedback!

Hmmm... do you want budget, or decent? Too many problems with SoundBlaster to recommend it for recording.

I still recommend Turtle Beach's Santa Cruz. At between $60-80 it's a great value for the dollar.

A friend's ProTools rig? This is a Cool Edit forum, buddy!Big Grin
