i want to burn my music but wanted to know if is a expecific dbs cause i have made like a vocal input with microphone (is a good mic)...i have a sounblaster live do i need a better sound board so i can get a better quality on burning cds...who can i make a profesional masterize of a song...? i will apreciate if anybody reply...(new member) thx

Let's see.....
Soundblaster Live! is not the world's best choice. But you may find it works fine for you.
However, your mic and soundcard do not influence the quality of CD-burning. But they do influence the quality of the music that you may want to burn to a cd. Understand ?
Did you have a specific problem, or question ? Or just general stuff ?

THX for reply...do the better the sound card the better the output? do i need to buy a audigy sound card to have a good cd...? do i need to record with the mic in a special way , i did all the noise reduction stuff (real nice) but still the level for music and vocals combination shows diference can you help me thx

Hi, I can see you have started another thread with a slightly more specific explanation.
Let's start here.
Are you saying that, the file sounds fine, just before you burn it to CD, and then, once burned it sounds poor ?
To be sure, try this. -> Play the track burned on the CD with Cool Edit 2000's CD player. Then, open the original wave that's stored on your computer and listen to that. Is there a big difference ?
