Does anyone know if Cool Edit 2 has Dual Monitor support and if it is possible what do I need to do. Also for all veterans out there Cool, Question tweaking cool edit to make your machine respond better to it, or vice-versa, any responses in regard to these questions would be much appreciated

I think dual monitor support is a function of the OS, but yes, CEP is great with 2 monitors. I have the main window filling one screen and sundry other CEP windows on the other screen, depending on whether I'm in Edit or MT view. If you wanted you could stretch the main window across both screens. Not a seamless view though. Big Grin

I love dual monitors with CEP. No longer to I have screens popping up all over what I'm trying to look at. Note though, that you can't have MT on one screen and EV on the other. The software won't allow that.

As for tweaking your computer to optimise CEP, there are pages and PAGES of tips in the Knowledge Base on the Syntrillium website. Hit it now before Adobe makes it dissappear.

I've been running two monitors since version 1. There's nothing to tweak in the application. Just use them.
;)

Wink

... except that you need a video card that has dual outputs.

Although that might be optimum, Craig, I wouldn't say that's entirely true...
I've been using two discrete video cards for several years now.
;)
