Hello...

I've got CEP 2.1, and produce a local radio show. I'm needing to pull some old shows off a CD that I've previously burned on from this PC. I've got two issues. When I go to File -> Extract audio from CD nothing shows up in the tracks section. The second issue is when I go to File -> Open then navigate to the CD and attempt to open a .cda track, I can see the tracks but when I open them it opens a blank file. What I find strange is that I can play the CD properly through Winamp. Device Manager says that the CD-RW is working properly. Is there any copy protection built into Windows that's not letting me rip the CD? Like I said this is somehting that I produced so I know there isn't any protection on the CD.

The system by the way is a Dell Dimension 4500, 2.2GHz 512MB RAM, running Win XP Pro.

Does anyone have any ideas??? As always thanks in advance any help is very much appreciated.
